About Me
I count myself very fortunate to live in retirement in the beautiful chalk landscape of the Yorkshire Wolds of north-east England. I came to photography relatively late in life; my route in was through a life-long passion for the natural world in general and for birds in particular. I'm at my happiest and most content when on a windswept coast, in the hills, or in the depths of a woodland. Above all, I value solitude and the personal space this gives me. My photography reflects this.
